The Galleraie spa

In the heart of "Colline Metallifere" is located the little thermal gem of Galleraie, surrounded by oak tree woods. This is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday in harmony with the beautiful countryside. Of particular interest are the geology and the botanic of the environment. The Galleraie is infact on the border of three natural preserves, and it is very easy to encounter a shy deer a wild boar or the bizarre porcupine. The site is particularly suited for walking, riding (two horse centers nearby) or biking. Gorgeous medieval towns like Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra and Massa Marittima are all within one hour's drive and so is the seaside.
The hotel dates back to 1861 and since then it has been used as a spa for the precious medical properties of its waters. You will find here a real oasis of peace and relax. The food is tipically Tuscan, based on fresh and seasonal products. At our cafeteria, you can enjoy your drink lounging on the beautiful terrace over looking the garden. We host stages and small conventions, and close to the hotel a little private chapel can be used for weddings. Upon request we organize trekkings and guided tours.
